Nearly 100 Attend Court for Murder Arraignment

A Bridgeport high school student was shot by another high school student on a Bridgeport street last week.

BRIDGEPORT, CT- Nearly 100 people tried to attend the murder arraignment of Deonte Tomlinson Monday morning.

Tomlinson, 19, is accused of killing Bridgeport resident Kahilil Sloan-Diaz, 18, Friday, according to the Connecticut Post.

Tomlinson is being held in lieu of $1 million bail. He has been out of jail just three months after serving a six-month sentence for robbery and has been arrested three times since then not counting the murder arrest.

Police believe the shooting is gang-related.
