Winning $30,000 CT Scratch-Off Lottery Ticket Sold In Bridgeport
A local resident is also the lucky winner, according to the Connecticut Lottery.
BRIDGEPORT, CT — A Bridgeport resident is $30,000 richer this week after claiming a winning scratch-off lottery ticket he locally, the Connecticut Lottery announced.
On Thursday, Luis Ferreira claimed a winning "Lucky Stars 2nd Edition" ticket he purchased at Edip Variety & Deli on Beechmont Avenue.
The CT Lottery publishes winner information as public record, according to officials.

The game, which costs $3 per ticket, began in June, and its status has been marked as "ending soon." As of Friday, only one grand prize of $30,000 remained unclaimed.
More than 1.1 million tickets have been printed, and the overall odds of winning are 1 in 3.55.
