Brookfield Names Committee to Determine Use for Old School
Public hearings on the topic will held once the committee has done research.

BROOKFIELD, CT — The town has named a committee to determine what to do with Center Elementary School, scheduled to be vacated following the construction ofthe new Huckleberry Hill Elementary School.
The committee will be meeting with various local groups to assess their needs for space that the school could meet. Public hearings on the topic will held once the committee has done research.
Bob Zinser was named chairman of the committee. The other committe members are Kevin Archer, William Donahue, Loretta Donovan, Frank Farrell, Bruce Macdonald, Don Mortifoglio, Richard Shahlamian, Eve Sturdevant and Christina Zimmerman, according to meeting minutes.
