Brookfield Village Ribbon Cutting Set for Friday
Phase I of the downtown rejuvenation project is complete.

BROOKFIELD, CT — Town officials will hold a ribbon cutting ceremony at 11 a.m. on Friday at 800 Federal Road to celebrate the opening of Brookfield Village.
The first phase of the downtown rejuvenation project, covering sidewalks, lampposts, curbing and other infrastructure near the intersection of Federal and Station roads, was paid for via grants and taxpayer money. Two of the four mixed use building have been completed, and now house a Subway restaurant and Rich Farm Ice Cream shop.
