Brookfield Voters Approve Grant for Still River Greenway

BROOKFIELD, CT — Residents voted to accept a state grant of more than $207,000 that paves the way to extending the Still River Greenway.

The vote, originally scheduled for March, had been postponed until last Thursday.

The grant, from the state's Community Connectivity Program., is intended to be used to construct a 2,500 foot extension from the greenway to the 25-car parking lot at the firehouse on Pocono Road.
