Community Joins Together to Help Brookfield Landscaper Paralyzed in Freak Accident

A Brookfield landscaper was paralyzed when a garage door fell on him in Janaury. His family and friends are planning a fundraiser for him.

Brookfield resident Jeff Moxham was paralyzed when a garage door fell on him on January 14, pinning him underneath.

Moxham, his wife Tara and daughter Hannah live in Brookfield where he ran a landscaping and snow plowing business with his two employees. His family has set up a GoFundMe page to help with medical bills, rehabilitation, recovery and other expenses.

A pasta dinner fundraiser is being held on Friday, Feb. 5 at the Candlewood Valley Country Club.Tickets are $25 per person and two seatings are scheduled for 5:30-7 p.m. and 7:30-9 p.m. There will be a 50/50 Superbowl Pool and kids activities.
