Inland Wetlands Commission Meeting Notes
Erosion control on new commercial construction and private residences.

Architect Chris Van Zanten submitted plans for a site modification at 763 Federal Road. The commercial building is located next to a tower owned by Connecticut Light and Power and had been in foreclosure. The property is now owned by a community bank. The site development maps included a landscape plan, proposed sediment and erosion control, and a vehicle turning diagram as the building currently has no access ways or parking lot.
A motion to continue until the next meeting was granted for 115 Obtuse Hill Road. Site plan #1 was submitted to stabilize the sight as a whole and reinforce existing retaining walls, along with stream improvements. The improvements will help to prevent debris from areas above the property flowing into the stream during heavy rainstorms and clogging the culverts.
A continued show cause hearing for 1 High Ridge Road for a Cease and Correct Order issued as the property is now part of a larger lawsuit.
