• Police Say Danbury Man Was Selling Drugs from Local Condo (i95rock.com) — Brookfield officers joined Danbury and other area police in a months-long investigation that led to the arrest of a Danbury man accused of selling drugs from a local condo and a New Milford address. Detectives say they seized crack cocaine, scales, and packaging materials after surveillance, a street stop, and court‑authorized searches, with help from the DEA's Bridgeport office.
   

• Is your child's car seat installed correctly? National data shows nearly half are not (wtnh.com) — Brookfield and New Milford police are teaming up for a free child car seat safety check on Saturday, Sept. 26 at Faith Church on Danbury Road in New Milford, with appointments booked through a Brookfield officer. The statewide campaign highlights that nearly half of car seats are installed incorrectly and offers hands-on help from certified technicians. Several other free clinics are scheduled across Connecticut throughout the week.
   

• Dolly Parton Corn Maze Tribute Spans North America to Benefit Imagination Library (925xtu.com) — A five-acre Dolly Parton–themed corn maze at Twins BBQ Co. in Brookfield is set to honor the late singer while raising money for her Imagination Library book program. Visitors can enjoy the maze and other fall attractions knowing part of their ticket supports free books for young children. The tribute was planned before Parton's death but now carries added meaning for organizers and fans.
