Public To Be Briefed on New Huckleberry Hill School Design

BROOKFIELD, CT — Officials will update community members on the status of the new Huckleberry Hill Elementary School at a meeting on Thursday evening.

In attendance at the public forum will be the school board, Municipal Building Committee, and representatives from Tecton Architects.

"Community members are encouraged to attend and provide feedback as the school design is refined and details are developed," officials urged in a post on the town website.

The plan calls for a nearly 139,000-square-foot school to be built on the existing Huckleberry Hill campus, at a cost of $78.1 million.

The forum will be held at 7 pm. at the existing Huckleberry Hill Elementary School.
