WEATHER UPDATE: Heavy Rain, Fog, and Wind Forecast for Brookfield

After a glorious weekend of weather, which brought bright sunshine both days, and 70 degrees on Saturday, it’s back to reality today.

We’ll be dealing with heavy rain, which we need, and fog for most of Monday and Monday evening. Gusty winds as high as 28 mph are expected during the day. A short term hazardous weather forecast is also in effect for Brookfield.

During the day today we could receive up to an inch of rain with temperatures hovering in the high 40s to mid 50s, another big change from this past weekend.

Rain will continue Monday night and up to another half inch of rain is possible before it ends early Tuesday. There is also the possibility of a thunderstorm later tonight. The temperature rebounds on Tuesday as cloudy skies turn partly sunny in the afternoon and we could hit the mid-60s again.

More rain showers are possible Wednesday, followed by sunny skies Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Each day the temps are forecast to be in the low 40s to mid-50s.

• Tuesday: Partly sunny, with a high near 64. West wind 6 to 9 mph.
• Tuesday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 40. Southwest wind 3 to 8 mph.
• Wednesday: A chance of showers after noon. Increasing clouds, with a high near 59. West wind 7 to 10 mph. Chance of precipitation is 30%.
• Wednesday Night: A chance of showers. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 40. Chance of precipitation is 50%.
• Thursday: A chance of showers before noon. Partly sunny, with a high near 54. Chance of precipitation is 30%.
• Thursday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 33.
• Friday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 54.
• Friday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 37.
