Danbury Inmate and Real Housewives Star to Lose Her Mansion

Two “ Real Housewives of New Jersey” stars who have had trouble with the law lately will soon lose their mansion to foreclosure.

The bank that holds the mortgage for a Montville, New Jersey mansion owned by “Real Housewives of New Jersey” stars Teresa and Joe Giudice has started foreclosure proceedings against the couple, according to nj.com.

Community Bank of Bergen County filed a notice of foreclosure in Morris County Superior Court this past week on their Indian Lane property, which has a $2.99 million listing price, according to the report.

Joe Giudice, who faces a 41-month sentence in federal prison in bankruptcy fraud and conspiracy-to-commit-wire-and-mail-fraud cases, recently lost his license for up to two years after having at least 47 suspensions since first obtaining his license in 1987, according to nj.com.

Giudice was accused of using his brother’s identification to obtain a license after his own was suspended because of a DUI in 2010, according to the report.

His wife, Teresa Giudice was recently sentenced to a 15-month prison sentence after she and her husband were sentenced for mortgage and bankruptcy fraud and conspiracy. She is serving her prison sentence at the Federal Correctional Institution in Danbury.

Teresa Giudice, also a cast member of Bravo TV’s “Real Housewives of New Jersey,” has been granted an early release from her 15-month stint in prison, according to the Federal Bureau of Prisons website.
