Canoe and Kayak Sale This Weekend

Collinsville Canoe and Kayak will host its annual spring Canoe & Kayak Sale 
this weekend.

For the 21^st year, the store will host the event, which includes seminars and demonstrations on topics such as kayak fishing, canoe strokes, how rivers flow, stand-up paddle boarding, and much more.

Canoe, kayak and stand-up paddle boarding manufacturers also display many models that people can try. For a $5 fee, which will benefit SUP The Coast, participants can try various craft. Non-profits also display information and food is sold at the event. 

“It’s like a paddlesports festival,” said Melissa Post, store supervisor at Collinsville Canoe and Kayak.

The event will take place April 30 from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. and May 1 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., rain or shine.
