CANTON, CT — Canton selectmen are reviewing the proposed municipal budget this month, with public input opportunities planned during workshops and at a special community discussion.

In a message to residents, Canton First Selectman Kevin Witkos said February is “budget month” for the board, comparing the process to managing a household budget.

The board will host a “kitchen table” budget discussion on Thursday, Feb. 19, from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at the Canton Community Center, 40 Dyer Ave.
