Canton Police Hold Event Saturday to Benefit Special Olympics

Cop-on-top event to benefit Special Olympics Connecticut at the Shoppes at Farmington Valley from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 23.

Officers with Canton Police Department will host a Cop-on-top event to benefit Special Olympics Connecticut at the Shoppes at Farmington Valley from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 23. The Shoppes at Farmington Valley are located at 110 Albany Turnpike, Canton. During the event, officers will remain on top of the building until they reach their fundraising goal by collecting donations to those who visit the location. At the end of the event, all donations the officers receive for their efforts will go to Special Olympics Connecticut to support its year-round sports, health and fitness programs for athletes of all abilities. Cop-on-top is a Law Enforcement Torch Run event to benefit Special Olympics Connecticut.
