Bulky Waste Collection Starts Soon In Cheshire

CHESHIRE, CT — The town’s Bulky Waste Collection begins next week. Officials are reminding residents to dispose of bulky items only — no household garbage and small items that fit in the trash bins.

The collection schedule is as follows:

• Sept. 23 to Sept. 27 – households with Monday trash collection
• Sept. 30 to Oct. 4 – households with Tuesday trash collection
• Oct. 7 to Oct. 11 – households with Wednesday trash collection
• Oct. 14 to Oct. 18 – households with Thursday trash collection
• Oct. 21 to Oct. 25 – households with Friday trash collection
• Week of Oct. 28 – make-up week

Items should be place curbside before the Monday morning of the assigned collection week. Officials are asking residents to keep items off the roadway and at least 3 feet from trash and recycling collection bins.
