• Big Lottery Prizes Sold In Cheshire (patch.com) — Cheshire residents may want to check their tickets after two $5 Smokin' Hot Cash Progressive lottery tickets sold at the Global Montello Group on South Main Street produced prizes of $13,226 each. The winners, from Hamden and Seymour, claimed their prizes on September 30, as new state rules now keep lottery winners' names private without written consent.
