Cheshire Football Team Breaks into Top 10 Poll
Rams rolled over West Haven for their third straight win Friday night, will take on Sheehan Thursday at 7 p.m. in Cheshire.
The Cheshire football team’s 3-0 start, including its convincing 42-28 victory over West Haven, has lifted the Rams into the GameTimeCT / New Haven Register Top 10 Poll for the first time this season.
Cheshire debuted at the No. 8 spot (which is where West Haven was) heading into its Week 4 matchup against Sheehan Thursday night at 7 p.m. in Cheshire.

Andrew Yamin was a one-man wrecking crew against the Westies, rushing for 208 yards and four touchdowns in the first half alone during last Friday night’s victory at Ken Strong Stadium.
Yamin was hampered by leg cramps in the second half but still finished with 230 yards rushing on 20 carries.
