• Cheshire Students Named National Merit Scholarship Semifinalists (patch.com) — Two Cheshire High School students have been named National Merit Scholarship semifinalists, putting them among the top-scoring high school seniors nationwide and in the running for significant scholarship money. They'll now submit detailed applications, essays, and test scores as they compete for a share of about $24 million in scholarships to be awarded next spring.
