Volunteers Sought For School Modernization Committee In Cheshire

The Town Council and the Board of Education are recruiting five volunteers from the Cheshire community to serve on the committee.

CHESHIRE, CT — The Town Council and the Board of Education are recruiting five volunteers from the Cheshire community to serve on the School Modernization Committee. The 11-member committee will be responsible for conducting a request for proposal (RFP) and developing a plan for the future or Cheshire’s school infrastructure, according to officials.

It is expected that the committee will meet at least twice a month, with additional subcommittee meetings, over the next year.

Residents or local businesspeople wishing to be considered should submit a note of interest, including a brief description of areas of expertise, to the Town Council c/o atalbot@cheshirect.org by 5 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 6.
