Clinton ‘Drone Teen’ Arrested on Child Porn Charge: Police
Austin Haughwout was arrested on a warrant Tuesday. Haughwout, now 20, made headlines for creating a gun-shooting drone in 2015.

CLINTON, CT — Austin Haughwout, who made headlines for creating a gun-shooting drone in 2015, was arrested on a possession of child pornography charge on Tuesday morning, according to police.
Haughwout, 20, was arrested at about 7:40 a.m. on Jan. 3 and charged with third-degree possession of child pornography following a lengthy investigation, according to police.
Haughwout was released on a court-ordered written promise to appear and is due in Middletown Superior Court on Jan. 10.

The arrest warrant was sealed by the court, police said.
No further information was immediately available regarding the latest arrest.

Haughwout was also arrested in October 2016 on a warrant on charges of enticing a minor, attempted fourth-degree sexual assault and risk of injury to a minor.
Haughwout, of Egypt Lane in Clinton, was also arrested over the summer on similar charges, including enticing a minor with a computer and fourth-degree attempt at sexual assault.
