Matthew Lesser matters locally because he represents Cromwell in the 9th Senate District. A Rocky Hill man was denied a diversionary program after a judge found he might reoffend, following repeated online threats and harassment that led police to seize firearms and ammunition and prompted Lesser's family to relocate.
