34-Year-Old Woman Sexually Assaulted Minor: Danbury Police

Police charged a woman with multiple counts of sexual assault of a minor following a complaint from the Department of Children and Families.

DANBURY, CT — Police have charged a woman with multiple counts of sexual assault of a minor following a complaint from the Department of Children and Families.

Police officials said they determined that Krystal Jones, 34, of of Kent Road in New Milford, was involved in a sexual relationship with a 15-year-old boy, following an investigation. Danbury police officers apprehended Jones on Tuesday at the Federal Road Holiday Inn after the Danbury Superior Court issued a warrant for her arrest.

Jones was charged with four counts of risk of injury to a child, three counts of illegal sexual contact with a victim under age 16, and three counts of first-degree sexual assault.

She was held on $250,000 bond and scheduled for arraignment Wednesday at Danbury Superior Court.
