Acid, Other Drugs Found After Danbury Crash: PD

DANBURY, CT — Officers arrested a Sherman teen after she was found with marijuana, Adderall pills, sheets of acid and THC wax in a vehicle after a crash, according to police.

Police responded to the crash on Clapboard Ridge Road Feb. 8 around 5:18 p.m. An officer smelled marijuana coming from Emily Burkhardt's vehicle, police said. Inside officers found the drugs and Burkhardt was placed under arrest.

Two additional Addrall pills were found after a check of the police cruiser's backseat. She admitted to placing them there, police said.

She was charged with several drug crimes and is being held on a $25,000 bond.
