Arrest Made in 2017 Gas Station Heist Case

Police expect there are more arrests to come.

WILTON, CT -- Police have arrested Alicia Sheremeta of Norwalk for her role in the December 2017 burglary and theft at a local gas station.

The arrest followed a three month investigation into a burglary that had occurred at the Gulf gas station on 287 Danbury Road in Wilton on December 17, 2017. Four hundred dollars in cash and $125 worth of cigarettes were stolen. Damage to the building stemming from the shattering of a sliding glass door was estimated at $700.

CCTV video of the scene allowed investigators from the Wilton Detective Bureau and Clinton Police Department to identify the male suspect and Sheremeta, who drove the vehicle in which both fled the scene.
