Crews Extinguish Deli Fire in Danbury
The cause of the fire is currently undetermined and under investigation by the Danbury Fire Marshal's Office.
DANBURY, CT — Firefighters put out a blaze at a Danbury deli late Monday afternoon.
Smoke was reported shortly after 4:00 p.m. at the Tropical Deli on Lake Avenue, and first responders upgraded the incident to a working fire, according to a report from the Danbury Fire Department.
Crews located the fire after opening up a section of the wall and roof eves.

Firefighters requested that the City Department of Health & Human Services send a representative to the scene of the fire, according to the report. No injuries were reported.
