Al Cutler, owner of Cutler Glass of Danbury, recently donated a 40-foot storage container to Housatonic Habitat for Humanity to add extra footage to the 10,000-square-foot thrift warehouse located at 51 Austin Street.

"Al Cutler was one of our earliest supporters," said Executive Director Fran Normann, "and we have appreciated his continued interest in affordable housing and the success of our resale operation." Mr. Cutler recently closed his store after more than 50 years as a local business. "We thank him for being a consistent supporter over the last 10 years and for being a good neighbor."

Housatonic Habitat for Humanity focuses on making a meaningful difference in the lives of qualified working families by promoting financial stability and self-sufficiency through ownership of affordable homes. Households often consist of those who have limited assets and who have jobs that also have income caps.
