Danbury Elks put spotlight on Housatonic Habitat for Humanity

Danbury Elks Club put their location along Route 7 to great advantage in promoting the Housatonic Habitat for Humanity brand. Recently, Housatonic Habitat's ReStore truck was parked in the Elks parking lot to add visibility to the ReStore mission of recycling, re-purposing and reselling household and construction items from the community into funds to build local Habitat homes.

Participating in Housatonic Habitat's "Spotlight" project is a who's who of local organizations including People's United Bank, Wells Fargo Bank, Danbury Chamber of Commerce and others who have offered free space to support the mission. Housatonic ReStore its a 10,000-square foot thrift warehouse at 51 Austin Street, Danbury, CT which is open to the public.
