
DANBURY, CT — Firefighters extinguished a fire in the basement of a Padanaram Road home Saturday. Crews responded a little before 7:30 a.m. to reports of smoke in the basement with an odor of gas.
Units quickly found the fire and extinguished it, according to the Danbury Fire Department Facebook page.
A family was displaced by the fire and the American Red Cross assisted them.
