DANBURY, CT — Firefighters extinguished a blaze that engulfed a car on Balmforth Avenue Tuesday morning.
The fire broke out in the vehicle around 10 a.m., according to Fire Department officials. Police blocked off the street near the railroad crossing while two engines worked to douse the flames.
"Fortunately there was a hydrant right where the fire was, which provided plenty of water," fire officials posted on social media.
