Danbury Hauling Company Organizes Toy Drive

Junk King Tri County has partnered with the Boys & Girls Club to bring some cheer to disadvantaged kids, but they need Patch readers' help.

DANBURY, CT — A local junk removal company is the engine behind a toy drive meant to delight Danbury children over the holidays.

Junk King Tri County has partnered with the local Boys & Girls Club of America for the "HAULidays Toy Drive," to collect toys at local business sites through Dec. 21.

Toys for children will be collected at Stanziato's, 35 Lake Ave. Extension; 3 Brothers Diners, 242 White Street; Mike’s Towing & Collision Center, 1 Chestnut Street; The Secret Hair Studio, 98 Mill Plain Road; and Kapteins Corner Deli, 38 Shelter Rock Road.

Residents may leave new, unwrapped toys at the donation bins. The toys will be disbursed by members of the Boys & Girls Club to underprivileged children throughout the area.
