Danbury HS Marching Band Holds Fund Raiser
The band's annual "Notable Night" and silent auction will take place on May 12.

DANBURY, CT --- The Danbury High School Marching Band has announced its annual Notable Night and silent auction will take place on May 12th, from 5:30 to 9:30 at the St. Nicholas Byzantine Church in Danbury.
The silent auction will include many bidding items such as memberships to sports and fitness facilities; museum passes; tickets to Quassy Park and the Danbury Ice Arena; and gift certificates to several local restaurants.
The proceeds from tickets and auction items will directly benefit the marching band, which competes locally and regionally, placing second in their class in New England in 2017.

“Our program is supported mainly from fundraisers such as this, funding everything from uniforms to
instruments to performance opportunities.” Says Karen Muller, the band's uniform manager. “We are in dire need of some upgrades. Instruments such as the tuba with the duct-taped patch on the bell need to be replaced or repaired. We need new uniforms that fit all band members to replace our frayed and torn uniforms. Any contribution will help makes these kids’ dreams a reality."
Tickets are $25.00. For more information, email notablenight@gmail.com.
