Danbury Man, 19, Charged With Shooting Man In The Leg: Police
BREAKING: An arrest has been made in an alleged shooting that occurred back in February.

DANBURY, CT — After a nearly month-long investigation, a 19-year-old local man was arrested Monday for shooting a man in the leg, Danbury police announced.
Christopher Watson, 19, was arrested at his house at 11 a.m. after detectives were able to obtain a warrant for his arrest. Police say he was taken into custody without incident. To sign up for Danbury breaking news alerts and more, click here.
According to police, officers responded to the Danbury Hospital emergency room at 3 p.m. on Feb. 24 for a man who had suffered a non life-threatening gun shot wound to his leg. Police say the shooting occurred on Chestnut Street earlier that morning.

Watson was charged with assault in the first degree and carrying a pistol without a permit. He was held on $75,000 bond.
