Danbury Man Charged With DWI In New York

SOUTHEAST, NY — Over the Presidents Day weekend, New York state police from Troop K arrested 24 drivers for various alleged impairments. Among them were several in or from Putnam and Westchester. Those included:

• On February 17, 2018, State Police from SP Brewster arrested John D. Taveras Espinal, age 31, of Danbury, CT, for DWI. He was traveling on State Route 6 in the town of Southeast, NY, when he was stopped for a vehicle and traffic law violation. Troopers allege their investigation revealed that he was impaired by alcohol. He was subsequently arrested.
