Danbury Man Possessed Drugs Near A School: Naugatuck Police

Police say the two men were held on a $10,000 bond.

NAUGATUCK, CT — A Milford man and a Danbury man are accused of possessing drugs within 1,500 feet of a school, Naugatuck police said.

At 11 p.m. on Oct. 23, officers responded to a suspicious vehicle complaint in the parking lot of the South Main Street Mobil Station, police said. During the investigation, Chad Tisza, 30, of Lakeview Trail in Danbury and Carmen Brehm, 27, of Garden Street in Milford were identified, police said.

They were found to be in possession of narcotics consisting of marijuana and hash oil, police said. The accuseds were given a court date of Oct. 24 and were held in lieu of a $10,000 bond.

They are charged with possession of a controlled substance, possession over four ounces, possession with intent to sell, third-degree criminal trespass, and distribution of controlled substances within 1,500 feet of a school.
