Danbury One of Few State Aid Winners in Malloy's New Plan
But Danbury is the exception; the city would actually receive more than $400,000 more in state aid under Malloy's latest plan.

The bad news keeps coming for Connecticut municipalities as the state attempts to claw out from under its budget mess.
Under Gov. Dannel P. Malloy's revised, proposed adjustments to the fiscal year 2019 budget previously adopted by the legislature state municipal aid would be cut nearly $100 million - both in the education and non-education side.
Danbury, however, is one of the few Connecticut municipalities that would get more money - $494,668 -under Malloy's new plan. It was slated to receive $40.6 million; now, $41.4 million.
