The Association of Religious Communities (ARC) is sponsoring a HUMANITY RALLY on Sunday, February 12th at 2:00 at the Central Christian Church, 71 West Street, Danbury.
Rev. Phyllis (PJ) Leopold is coordinating the event with a committee of diverse community leaders. She explained how what is happening in the world right now is also hitting our community. "We have a close friend of ARC whose family was recently detained at the airport, there are swastikas being painted on buildings in Danbury and surrounding towns, and people are afraid to attend their own houses of worship."
The program at the rally will include speakers from diverse backgrounds including a Rabbi, a member of the Muslim faith and a local businessman and member of the Ecuadorian Civic Society.
