Danbury Rotary Club Visits Workspace Academy

The Danbury Rotary Club visited Workspace Academy in lieu of its usual luncheon meeting.

On August 30th, the Danbury Rotary Club dispensed with their usual
luncheon meeting, and instead convened at Bethel’s Workspace Academy.
Executive Director of the Academy, Catherine Fraise, walked Rotary Club
members through the Academies facilities.


Workspace kids are acquiring their foundational literacies through individualized
curriculums that are tailored to their personal learning styles. They
are solving real-world problems, mastering design thinking and
developing their own portfolio of 21st century skills.

What we saw was a wide array of focus areas including a research lab,
digital publishing, global awareness, entrepreneurship, prototype
design, culinary and theater arts, fashion design, virtual reality, film
and music studios, and much more.

To sum it up, Workspace kids aren’t waiting until they get into college before they discover their
passions. It is happening today with Workspace education.
