Danbury Sports Dome Battle to get Jury Trial
A pre-trial conference is on track for the end of February.

DANBURY, CT — The legal tussle between City Hall and the Danbury Sports Dome is nearing conclusion, based upon a recent ruling by a state Superior Court.
Judge Edward Krumeich ruled last week that the years long battle will be decided by a jury trial in April.
The dispute between the city and the sports complex ownership dates back to May 2015 when the dome owners first sued Danbury for mandating additional tests, redesign and construction which the suit says cost ownership an additional $380,000 in construction and $1.5 million in lost revenue.
