DANBURY, CT -- The Ridley-Lowell Business and Technical Institute closed its doors this week, including those on its campuses in New London and Danbury.
The school offered certifications in beauty, dental, medical and electrical fields at campuses in Poughkeepsie, N.Y., and Warwick, R.I., as well as New London and Danbury. Students were alerted abruptly via email on Wednesday night that all programs and "future classes and programs are cancelled."
The school's website confirms that "Ridley-Lowell Business & Technical Institute has permanently closed. All campuses and facilities are closed. All classes and programs are cancelled effective immediately." That advisory is followed by a list of contact information for students with questions about federal loans, GI benefits and credit transferral.
