Danbury Twin Sisters Named to Connecticut Magazine's '40 Under 40'
The two women co-founded Connecticut Students for a DREAM, a group that works for the rights of undocumented youth and their families.

Every year, Connecticut Magazine releases its Top 40 Under 40 list, featuring philanthropists, artists, athletes, educators and entrepreneurs. Each person is nominated by friends, family, colleagues, fans and editors of the magazine.
Danbury’s own Camila and Carolina Bortolleto are two Connecticut residents to receive the designation. the twin sisters became undocumented residents at the age of 9 when they moved from Brazil to Danbury. In 2010, the sisters co-founded Connecticut Students for a DREAM, “a state chapter of a national organization of young adults that works for the rights of undocumented youth and their families,” according tothe magazine.

Camila works as the program coordinator for Own the Dream Campaign at United We Dream. Carolina works as a college access coordinator, according to Connecticut Magazine.
