$5K Reward Offered for Hit-and-Run Driver Who Killed Young Mom in Danbury

A young Bethel mother was struck and killed by a hit-and-run driver around midnight on Saturday, Nov. 8 in Danbury.

A $5,000 reward is being offered for any information leading to the arrest of the hit-and-run driver who struck and killed of Rachel Sack, a 23-year-old Bethel woman, according to NBC CT.

Sack was the mother of an infant son named Jackson, and worked as a Certified Nurse’s Assistant at Regional Hospice and Home Care in Danbury. Family and friends want answers and are offering a reward for any information leading to the arrest of the individual responsible for her death.

Eyewitnesses say a dark-colored SUV hit Rachel Sack as she was walking near Great Pasture and South Street in Danbury. The driver fled the scene. People tried to help her as she lay in the road and an ambulance transported her to Danbury Hospital, but she died at the hospital as a result of her injuries.
