Alicia Ghio is a guru of all things local & delicious. Now she is partnering with Max's Best Bootcamp to bring viewers weekly recipes on TV.

Danbury locavore, chef, and writer Alicia Ghio has been creating delicious recipes in her Danbury kitchen since 2007. Formerly known as “The Natural Princess,” she recently renamed her cooking venture “Local Food Rocks.”
Part of her rocking duo is her husband Renato Ghio, her “partner in crime” who records and produces the videos on her website. The couple are the owners of RmediA, a local business that does all kinds of productions for various media projects. They recently produced the video used for the 8th Annual Business Supports the Arts Breakfast.
Now Alicia is partnering with Max Barry of Max’s Best Bootcamp to bring TV viewers healthy, local food options that are simple and delicious.

“I wanted to help my clients approach home cooking that is simple, using few ingredients but maximizing flavors,” Max said.
“The recipes have to be ‘Max approved,’ which means no carbs, grain-free, and healthy with lean protein,” Alicia said. “We try to let people know that they don’t have to be intimidated by cooking. Everyone has a busy life and we make it simple and easy.”
Max’s Best Bootcamp airs on Comcast TV, channel 23, on Monday nights at 8 p.m.
