Danbury Ct - “Twenty thousand much-needed PPE masks will be made available to healthcare facilities and small businesses in a matter of weeks,” it was announced by Engraved Products Managing Director, Graves Kiely.

“Our aim is not only to support healthcare workers who have sacrificed so much for all of us, but to bring the community together,” Kiely said. “In that spirit each 50-packet of 3-ply disposable masks purchased by a small business to protect its workers will result in a “like” donation to those serving in the front lines of this crisis.” He added that each donated box of masks will include a note that identifies the donor, unless the donor chooses to be anonymous.

Kiely noted that if enough masks are purchased by the local business community, more will be made available as soon as possible. “We hope that the Greater Danbury business community will support this effort. Our gesture is a mere drop in the bucket compared to the huge demand that Fairfield County faces.”

Having purchased Engraved Products in Danbury a year ago, Kiely is well aware of the challenges of operating a small business. Hit hard by the crisis, the company has postponed celebrating its 50th anniversary. “I know we are going to make it through this difficult time. After all, we are in the motivation, recognition and appreciation business. What better time for a business like ours to honor our healthcare people for what they are doing? In many cases they are making the ultimate sacrifice, putting their lives on the line for others. Join us in this effort.”
