Family & Children's Aid brings the MLB to Danbury!
Mariano Rivera came to FCA's Annual Kids Cup and now Former MLB Players to Host FREE Baseball Clinic for the Community!
Danbury, CT: On Monday, May 22, former MLB Player, Mariano Rivera came to Family & Children's Aid's annual Kids Cup Golf Classic at Richter Park in Danbury, CT. Attracting a sold out crowd, this annual event raised over $100,000 for kids and families in need.
Now, on Saturday, June 10, Family & Children's Aid is bringing up to ten former MLB Alumni Players to Rogers Park in Danbury for a FREE baseball clinic for the community.
Major League Baseball’s former players organize clinics teaching baseball and life skills all across the country to teach kids about the game. And now in partnership with Family & Children’s Aid and the Danbury Westerners, they plan to host a clinic in Danbury for the second year in a row.

The MLB Players Alumni Association will hold this special baseball event from 9 a.m. to noon on Saturday, June 10 at Rogers Park, the home of the Danbury Westerners.
The clinic will feature up to ten former MLB players and children will receive a free t-shirt, tickets to the Westerners game and an official Rawlings baseball. After the baseball instruction, the players will stay for autographs and pictures.

Registration is free for children and the clinic is recommended for children ages 6 to 16. Participants can register online at www.fcaweb.org/forms/bb.
