Flash Flooding Shuts Down Many Danbury Roads

Danbury is experiencing flash flooding in areas not usually associated with these areas. If you are traveling towards Pembroke Road, turn around. Padanaram is closed, and traffic going up towards New Fairfield appears endless. Jeanette Drive and East Pembroke are complete parking lots. The train overpass at 181 West Street is closed, as usual, and a mini cooper sunk on Padanaram Road.

Federal Road is not as bad as usual, and is passable for larger cars, though some smaller cars are turning back.
