Habitat to hold Interfaith Volunteer Work Day on August 30
Register today as a team or individually

Housatonic Habitat for Humanity will hold an Interfaith Volunteer Workday on Sunday, Aug. 30 from 1-5 p.m. Volunteers from a variety of faith communities are invited to work together on projects. To volunteer, contact jrwheeler53@gmail.com. Teams will be assigned tasks in Danbury.
"We are very excited about organizing another volunteer day where we will not only help others but also have the ability to come together for fellowship," Wheeler said. Last summer, more than a dozen volunteers of all ages worked on the Housatonic Habitat construction site in New Preston. "This is a good way for families to give back to the community."
Housatonic Habitat for Humanity focuses on making a meaningful difference in the lives of qualified working families by promoting financial stability and self-sufficiency through ownership of affordable homes. Households often consist of those who have limited assets and who have jobs that also have income caps.
