Habitat luncheon on "How to declutter before a house sale"

Housatonic Habitat Realtor Lunch & Learn Series

“How to declutter before a house sale” was the topic at the Housatonic Habitat “Realtor Lunch & Learn” program on Thursday, April 19 at the ReStore at 51 Austin Street, Danbury. Presented by Matt Baier, owner of Matt Baier Organizing, the program focused on tips that can help sell a home faster while saving on moving and storage costs.

The Realtor Lunch & Learn series is a collaboration between the Northern Fairfield County Board of Realtors (NFCAR), the Ridgefield Board of Realtors (RBOR), the Greater New Milford Board of Realtors (GNMBR) and Housatonic Habitat for Humanity. The event was sponsored by Fairfield County Bank and was open to the public at $10 per person.

Executive Director Fran Normann said, “Each home is the key to our neighborhood and local economic vitality. We have forged many new friendships through this series, now in its second year. We value the Realtors’ expertise and outreach in the community.” Housatonic Habitat for Humanity focuses on making a meaningful difference in the lives of qualified working families by promoting financial stability and self-sufficiency through ownership of affordable homes. By providing decent, affordable, safe housing to qualified regional families, Housatonic Habitat contributes to community revitalization in the greater Danbury region by creating homes that can transform a street and neighborhood and add value to the community.
