Danbury Car Wash Sept. 20 to Benefit USA Dance Team

The USA Dance Team is raising funds to cover their trip to Germany for the World Tap Championships.

The team this year consists of 17 children who came together from three different states and studios, including one in Brewster, said Danielle Beirne, the proud mother of one team member.

“They will travel to Germany the first week in December,” she said. “Once they get there they will compete against competitors from over 30 countries. Some of the girls have been before and are gold and silver medalist. For some of them it is their first time going.”
