Housatonic Habitat holds second Interfaith Volunteer Work Day

Housatonic Habitat for Humanity recently held its second interfaith volunteer work day led by Rev. Jim Wheeler, Housatonic Habitat Interfaith Coordinator. Volunteers from local area congregations worked alongside Habitat homeowners to freshen up their homes. Gardening, lawn care, power-washing and surface preparation for an upcoming painting project were completed.

Housatonic Habitat for Humanity focuses on making a meaningful difference in the lives of qualified working families by promoting financial stability and self-sufficiency through ownership of affordable homes. Households often consist of those who have limited assets and who have jobs that also have income caps.
