Housatonic Habitat to participate: Fairfield County's Giving Day

March 1, 2018 - 24-hour online fundraising event

Housatonic Habitat for Humanity will participate in Fairfield County’s Giving Day, a 24-hour online fundraising event on March 1, 2018 organized by Fairfield County Community Foundation to aid local causes.

Housatonic Habitat was among the more than 400 non-profits benefitting from last year’s drive. “Our goal is to raise $5,000 to raise the roof on our current building program,” said Executive Director Fran Normann. The affordable housing advocate is currently building a home for Keri and Matt, and providing needed home repairs for those aging in place.

“By providing decent, affordable, safe housing to qualified regional families, Housatonic Habitat contributes to community revitalization in the greater Danbury region by creating homes that can transform a street and neighborhood and add value to the community,” she said.
